Patient Care

We take care of both outpatients and inpatients in RCGLD related clinics and the GI ward both located in Taleghani Hospital, Tehran Iran.

Board members, fellowships and well experienced personnel provide the best patient care in the field of lower GI diseases specially inflammatory bowel diseases.

Patient Education

We have already held a patient education course for 100 inflammatory bowel disease patients. We are planning to carry out similar programs in other Iranian cities in the future.

Two IBD pamphlet have been published about "Ulcerative Colitis" and "Crohn's Disease" patient care. They are being distributed amongst IBD patients to teach them useful points regarding their disease in a simple and sensible manner.

The pamphlets edited in this group is handed out in GI clinics for free. All pamphlets are in Farsi, since most of our patients are Iranians.

In addition, the health informatics department of RCGLD has prepared a complete website for IBD patient education in Farsi.
